DRIVING DIRECTIONS FROM INTERSTATE 20 TO START (PORTER'S GAP TRAILHEAD / AL 77):
Exit I-20 at AL 21, in Oxford. Go south 14.3 miles to CR 321. Turn left.
Go 5.7 miles to AL 77. Turn left.Go 4.4 miles to the trailhead, on the left, just
past the 55 mile marker. The north trail starts at the back of the parking area.

Enter Trail Head (Pinhoti Trail) and go 3.19 miles to Skyway Drive. 3.19
Turn Left on Skyway Drive and go .15 mile to R&R tracks and Aid Station #1.

Take Fire Road (600 Skyway) .22 mile. 0.22
Turn Left and take the Pinhoti Trail 1.30 miles. 1.3
Cross over Fire Road and continue on Pinhoti Trial 1.38 miles. 1.38
Turn right on Fire Road (600 Skyway) and go 2.25 miles to Aid Station #2.
(Clairmont Gap). 2.25
Continue on Fire Road (600 Skyway) for 1.9 miles to Burgess Point. 1.9
Turn Right and take the Pinhoti Trail .75 miles. 0.75
Cross over Fire Road and continue on Pinhoti Trial 1.37 miles to Old Fire Rd. 1.37
Cross over Old Fire Rd vering to the right and continue on Pinhoti Trail 1.78 miles
to split of Pinhoti Trail and Skyway Trail. 1.78
Bare to the right and continue to Adams Gap (Aid Station #3) .18 of a mile. 0.18
After checking in at Aid Station go back on Pinhoti to split of Pinhoti and
Skyway Trail .18 of a mile. 0.18
At the Sign, Go right and take Skyway Trail 1.7 mi. to 1st Creek Crossing. 1.7
Continue .93mi. to 1st 4x4 crossing. 0.93
Continue to Aid Station #4 (Hubbard Creek)
Continue .89 mi. to 2nd 4x4 crossing. 0.89
Continue .13 mi. to 3rd 4x4 crossing 0.13
Continue 1.06 mi. to second creek crossing. 1.06
Continue .73 mi. to 4th 4x4 crossing 0.73
Continue .51 mi. to 5th 4x4 crossing 0.51

Bare to the left and continue on the Silent Trail 3.19 mi. to 600-3 dirt road. 3.19
Turn left on 600-3 dirt road and go 1.3 mi. to Cheaha Rd 1.3
Turn right on Cheaha Rd and go 1.2 mi. to entrance of Cheaha Lake. 1.2
Enter Entrance of Cheaha Lake and go .09 mi. to Covered Pavillon,
Aid Station #6 (Lake Cheaha). 0.09
Continue from Aid Station #5 .08 mi. to Entrance of Lake Trail (Very Steep). 0.08
